What is set, and what we cover on a call
| Where it stands | |
|---|---|
| Who pays | Plumbers pay PlumbMatch for jobs |
| Who gets the homeowner's details | Only the plumber who takes the job |
| The price, and how it's charged | Talked through on a call, before you sign |
| Contract length, rollover and notice | Covered on that same call |
| Exclusive areas, and plumbers per area | Covered on that call too |
What every job includes
- When you take it, the homeowner's details are yours alone. No second plumber gets them from us.
- It fits a job type you told us you want.
- It is inside the suburbs or postcodes you chose, or it is a job nobody local took within 48 hours.
- The homeowner's first name, mobile, email if they gave one, and message, plus a record of the consent they gave and when.
When a job turns out wrong
A fake number, or a request that isn't plumbing at all, can still get through now and then, even with every mobile checked first.
If a job you've taken turns out like that, email info@plumbmatch.com.au and we'll review it. Whether a bad job is credited is one of the terms we go through on the call before you sign.
Questions to ask any lead seller
- How many other businesses get the same job, and at the same moment?
- Is the lead ever sold again, to anyone?
- How long is the contract, and does it roll over on its own?
- What counts as a bad lead, and how do you get it credited?
- Does the homeowner know your business name before you ring?
- What did the homeowner agree to, and can you see the record of it?
Getting the figures
Apply by email at info@plumbmatch.com.au, with the details listed on how to apply. After we have checked your licence and insurance and read your reviews, we ring you with the price and the contract, and nothing is signed before that call.
