| How you pay | A monthly subscription that includes credits | Plumbers pay for jobs; the price is gone through on a call |

| Jobs matched to | Not checked | The job types you choose, your area and your licence class |
Where the hipages facts come from
hipages blocks the research tools we used, so we could not read its own site. The hipages column comes from What's The Damage's page on what hipages costs tradies, checked on 10 October 2026. That page also notes hipages publishes no per-lead price.
What's The Damage runs its own lead service, so treat its description as second-hand. Check hipages' current terms with hipages before you decide.
What PlumbMatch does differently
Only the first plumber to take a job gets the homeowner's phone and email. Others who cover the area can see the job, but never those details.
You tell us the jobs you want, and only those come to you. Your licence class counts as well, so gas jobs are only shown to plumbers whose licence covers gasfitting.
Your licence is looked up on the state register before your first job, along with your insurance, your ABN and your Google reviews. We look the licence up again every three months.
Plumbers pay PlumbMatch for jobs, and the price and contract are set out on a call before you sign.
Directory listings count as ads in Queensland
Whichever service you use, the QBCC says an advertisement includes "online service directories (e.g. Gumtree, Hipages, serviceseeking)". A Queensland licensee's ads must "contain the name under which the licensee is licensed" and state the licensee number.
Worth asking before you choose
- How many other businesses will see the same homeowner's job?
- What will one job cost you, all in, once credits are counted?
- When does the contract renew, and how much notice do you need to give?
- Can you see what the homeowner agreed to when they asked?
