How we read a plumber's reviews
When a plumber applies, a person on our team reads their Google reviews. A star average can hide a pattern, like the same complaint turning up again and again.
We never write reviews, borrow them from another business or show a star rating we can't trace back to a real customer.
Why there is no Google review of PlumbMatch itself
Google's Business Profile rules list "Lead generation agents or companies." as businesses that cannot have a profile. They also say a business must make "in-person contact with customers during its stated hours" to qualify.
PlumbMatch never visits your home, so it has no Google listing to review. That is one more reason any review on this page is of a plumber, clearly marked as theirs.
How a review is shown here
- Labelled with the business name of the plumber the review is about.
- Quoted in full, not trimmed down to the kind parts.
- Linked to the plumber's Google listing, so you can read the rest.
- Only with written permission from the homeowner who wrote it.
Reading a plumber's reviews yourself
- Do the reviews mention jobs like yours, or mostly other work?
- How does the plumber reply to a bad review?
- Are lots of reviews posted in the same week, in similar words?
- Does the business name on the reviews match the name on the licence and the quote?
Why we are careful about this
Fake reviews are a known problem in home services. A 2026 petition to the Victorian Parliament describes scam locksmith websites with "fake addresses and fake reviews". Showing only real, named reviews with permission is how we keep this page out of that category.
Tell us how your job went
Good or bad, we want to hear it. Write to info@blufire.com.au and tell us your first name, your suburb and which plumber did the work.
If it's a complaint, it weighs on whether that plumber keeps getting jobs from us. The complaints page covers the other steps you can take.
We never publish what you send without your written permission.
